Welcome to the Brand Republic Digital Awards 2015.

As I write this, Snapchat has just announced it is worth $12 billion, mobile is projected to have driven 36% of all e-commerce sales in 2014, Amazon is hiring aviation experts to assist with its drone delivery service, #MontyThePenguin is trending up a storm on Twitter, and if that wasn’t enough we’ve gone and landed a robot probe on a comet in outer space.

There is no escaping the pace of technological advancement that is driving digital innovation across every part of the industry. And who would want to? It’s just getting more and more exciting.

I’m delighted to announce our 2015 chair of judges is Sonia Carter, head of digital and social media marketing, Europe at Mondelez International. She will be overseeing a stellar line up of the industry’s finest digital gurus when we come to judge the entries in April.
